Sonje includes an optional online library where teachers can publish learning content and students can access it with codes. These guidelines explain what is allowed. They apply to every library, card, note, image, audio file, profile and message shared through Sonje.
1. Be respectful
Do not publish content that:
- harasses, threatens, bullies or degrades a person or group;
- promotes hate based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation or other protected characteristics;
- encourages violence, self-harm or dangerous acts;
- is sexually explicit or exploitative;
- is obscene or otherwise inappropriate for an educational app.
2. Protect privacy
Do not publish another person's personal or sensitive information without permission, including:
- full names, phone numbers, addresses or email addresses;
- photos or videos of identifiable people;
- financial, medical or legal information;
- private messages or confidential documents.
If you are a teacher, only include student information that is necessary and that you have permission to share.
3. Respect intellectual property
Only upload content you created or have the right to use. Do not upload copyrighted books, articles, images, audio or other materials without permission or a valid legal exception. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact [CONTACT_EMAIL] with the details.
4. No spam, scams or malware
Do not use Sonje to:
- advertise unrelated products or services;
- send phishing links or fraudulent offers;
- distribute malware or attempt to compromise another user's device or account;
- manipulate download counts, access codes or reviews.
5. Keep it educational
Libraries should be relevant to learning. Do not use the online library as a general file host, social network or marketplace for unrelated goods.
6. Moderation
We may review, remove or restrict content that violates these guidelines or our Terms of Use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate the rules or that pose a risk to users.
We are not obligated to review every library before it is published, but we will respond to reports.
7. How to report
In the app:
- Open the library.
- Tap the overflow menu (⋮).
- Tap Report and confirm.
To stop seeing a teacher's libraries, tap Block teacher in the same menu. You can manage blocked teachers from the student menu.
You can also email [CONTACT_EMAIL] with:
- the library name or link;
- the teacher's or user's name, if known;
- the reason for the report;
- screenshots or other details, if available.
We will review the report and take appropriate action. Do not abuse the reporting system.
8. Appeals
If your content was removed or your account was restricted and you believe it was a mistake, email [CONTACT_EMAIL] with your account email and an explanation. We will review the decision.
